Mini India Will Be Seen In Kashi Vidyapeeth From Today
At Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith, Varanasi, the atmosphere will look like a mini India on Friday. Many state players have reached Banaras to participate in the Eastern Region Inter-University Handball Women-Men competition starting today at the university.

Organizing Secretary Dr. Santosh Kumar told that till Thursday evening, 21 teams of male category and 12 of the female category have arrived. Teams from Manipur, Assam, Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh will participate in this competition. That is, the view of Small India will be seen in the Kashi Vidyapeeth campus from Friday.
Three courts have been built for competition. The matches will start at 9 am on Friday, while the sports director of Uttar Pradesh Dr. RP Singh will launch the competition. All the rules have been explained in detail in the team manager's meeting.
Uttar Pradesh Handball Association has sent 15 judges to conduct the matches. The two halves will be of 25-25 minutes. There will be a 10-minute break. Chairman of Technical Committee Prof. Surendra Singh, former Head of Department, Department of Physical Education, will be Kashi Vidyapeeth.
The team of Dhanmanjuri University, Imphal, who came to participate in this competition for the first time, appeared most excited. His women and men players said that even though we have come for the first time, our performance will be great.
