India vs Bangladesh: Mamta and Hasina Can See Historic Day-Night Test

A day-night Test match between India and Bangladesh will be played in Kolkata from 22 November. Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina may also come to see this match.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee can sit together and watch the match after ringing a bell at Eden in the historic Test on the first day of India, starting at the Eden Gardens from 22 November.

A four-day team led by Bangladesh Deputy High Commissioner Taufiq Hasan on Tuesday inspected the Eden Gardens and the seating arrangement of the Prime Minister and his 80-member delegation.

According to the schedule, Hasina will come for a day and will watch the match after ringing the bell. She will then return at night when the Bengal Cricket Association honors her. Hasan did not say whether Mamta and Hasina would watch the match together but the cab official indicated that the two BC Roys could sit together in the President's Box at the clubhouse.

Hasan said, "The Prime Minister will come in the morning on the same day." She will come to ring the bell at one o'clock before the match starts. After this, after watching the match, I will go to rest and will come again at eight o'clock.

She said, "She will sit in the President's Box near the bell." We are happy with the arrangements made for them. Eden is called the Mecca of Cricket and for the first time, both countries will play the day-night Test. The people of Bangladesh are very excited. '

Apart from these, all the officials of the cab including BCCI President Sourav Ganguly, Secretary Jai Shah, Champion batsman Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Bangladesh Cricket Board President Najmul Hasan will be present. There are also plans to have a chat show during the break which will feature Ganguly, Tendulkar, Dravid, Anil Kumble, and VVS Laxman.
